The Naked Time

Oh lordy, I’ve been looking forward to blogging about this episode, which is one of my faves. I love the character-driven TOS episodes the best. Yes, I know…they’re all character-driven to some extent, but some more than others. The Naked Time is one of my favourites because you get a deep glimpse into many of [...]

Where No Man Has Gone Before

Thanks for the feedback to my previous posts, everyone. I’m learning quite a bit from some of the info, and thought I’d share it here as well, just in case others would benefit as well:
Hitch Aka Richard Wheatley, for example, pointed out that the original Star Trek series wasn’t shown in the UK until 1969. [...]

Charlie X

Still others might argue just for [...]

For those on Livejournal, Rob Wynne hasĀ  set up a feed with the name “ohitrek” (thanks, Rob!).
After adding an About Me and Legalstuff page to this blog, I’ve noticed that the links in the sidebar are overlapping with the Category names. Christoph Boecken (the author of this new Wordpress Theme) is kindly helping me fix [...]

Reason for this blog

I recently discovered that it’s the 40th anniversary of the first episode of Classic Star Trek this Friday. 40 years. Holy cow. Am I really that old?
Granted, I watched most of the episodes as reruns, but I do clearly remember a time with Star Trek (THE Star Trek) was pretty much the only science fiction [...]

Don’t forget to click on the header to see the full post (not on this one, but on the post above). I need to learn enough CSS to be able to add a “More” link to this Wordpress theme.
