Have to feel a bit sorry for Captain Lochley…viewers would obviously compare her to Ivanova in these early episodes. Despite the sympathy, however, I have to say that I’m not too crazy about Lochley so far. She’s a bit too pretty and overly scowly.
Cool opening credits, summarizing all the seasons so far. And I couldn’t help but be astounded that I’ve already watched four seasons of Babylon Five! I’ve also changed my opinions about the characters quite a bit since those early episodes (the guy with the funny hair, for example).

I’m curious about Lochley’s background. I’m assuming we’re going to find out more.

Looks like Sheridan’s troubles are far from over.

UH OH! TELEPATHS! “Uh oh” because I remember one of the bits of the last episode, when one of the panel experts referred to Sheridan regretting letting the telepaths make a home on B5, and that they eventually turned against him.

Byron’s intriguing, but he’s no Marcus.

Intriguing animosity between Lochley and Garibaldi. The cynical part of me has to wonder whether this means they’re going to end up falling in love. Yes, I know that Garibaldi has someone back on Mars but he doesn’t seem to be on Mars a great deal, does he?

The telepath boy sacrifices himself to save Sheridan. No surprise that Sheridan agrees to let the telepaths stay on B5 after that.

I like how G’Kar shortens the ceremony after Sheridan’s attacked (and rescued by Garibaldi)…
G’Kar: You want to be president?
Sheridan: Yes.
G’Kar: Put your hand on the book and say, ‘I do.’
Sheridan: I do.
G’Kar: Fine. Done. Let’s eat.
Another great quote:
Sheridan: I’m glad you talked him out of it. I have no desire to be struck blind by the sight of Londo naked.
Next: The Very Long Night Of Londo Mollari

The change in Londo and G’Kar from the first episode has always astounded me. You could never imagine the people who walk out of the end of Season 5 when you look at that, yet at the same time, you can see the roots of that person.
Other characters too of course, but can you imagine then the two people who bicker about eating rice from the wedding ceremony?
Be sure to look for JMS in his cameo in this Season 5.
Also in this season, other alien races not being quite what they first appear to be.
One of my very favorite characters in Season 5 is “G’Kar the Writer”. It’s just a wonderful side to his personality.
